On the Soapbox

This section is my pressure relief valve; that’s why it’s called “On the Soapbox.” Here, I’ll comment about things that come into my mind, whatever they may be.

They could be about gardening, or not. You’ll never know what you’ll find here, but I hope you find it interesting or thought-provoking.

There are so many things going on in our world today, but we’re not special. Many of our ancestors had to worry about the Mongol hordes stopping by for dinner or the foolish whims of a king.

Needless to say, we have our own Mongol hordes to worry about. And the foolish “kings?” We won’t start on that one. The names are changed, but the intents are the same.

Fortunately, like our ancestors, we also have a lot to laugh about. Being on the soapbox wouldn’t be the same without some humor.
